Xinyi Township or Sinyi Township is a mountain indigenous township in Nantou County, Taiwan. It is the largest township by area of Nantou County. Xinyi is home to the Bunun people of the Taiwanese aborigines. Xinyi is situated 7 km south of Caolin.

Lugu Township is a rural township located in the southwest of Nantou County, Taiwan. Lugu is known as the home of Dongding Oolong Tea, which was first cultivated on Dong Ding Mountain in the area. Lugu Township is situated 9 km west of Caolin.
