K2 base camp trek is a multi-day hike generally based from Skardu, Pakistan. It takes about 10 to 16 days and involves a distance of about 180 km return. K2 is situated 3½ km southwest of Xiaofong Tip.
Skyang Kangri

Skyang Kangri, or Staircase Peak, is a high mountain peak of the Baltoro Muztagh, a subrange of the Karakoram range. It lies on the Pakistan–China border, about 7 kilometres northeast of K2, the world's second-highest mountain. Skyang Kangri is situated 3 km northeast of Xiaofong Tip.
