The New Fortress of Corfu is a Venetian fortress built on the hill of St. Mark in Corfu in stages. The original architect of the fort was the military engineer Ferrante Vitelli. New Fortress is situated 3½ km east of Alikes.

The Venetian arsenal at Gouvia was a shipyard built by the Republic of Venice during their rule over the island of Corfu.
