Kyoto Tower is an observation tower located in Kyoto, Japan. The steel tower is the tallest structure in Kyoto with its observation deck at 100 metres and its spire at 131 metres. Kyoto Tower is situated 440 metres south of Higashi Hongan-ji.

Shosei-en Garden is a garden in Kyoto, Japan. The garden has teahouses, a hall with a Buddhist altar, and two ponds. The garden was named by Sennyo Shōnin, who used the garden as a residence when he retired in 1653 and was gifted the land by the shōgun Tokugawa Iemitsu. Shosei Garden is situated 420 metres east of Higashi Hongan-ji.
