Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty
Jangneung in Yeongwol County, Gangwon Province, South Korea is the tomb of King Danjong, the 6th king of Joseon. It was designated as a historic site in 1970 and a World Heritage Site in 2009 as one of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty is situated 3 km southeast of Nammae.
