The National Museum of Korea is the flagship museum of Korean history and art in South Korea. Since its establishment in 1945, the museum has been committed to various studies and research activities in the fields of archaeology, history, and art, continuously developing a variety of exhibitions and education programs.

National Hangeul Museum

The National Hangeul Museum was established in 2014 in the Yongsan District of Seoul near the National Museum of Korea. Occupying over 11,322 square metres, it showcases the cultural and political context, linguistic structure and evolution of the Korean alphabetical character system known as Hangul through exhibitions, research activities, and education.

Ichon Station is a station in Yongsan District, Seoul on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. This station is the closest to the National Museum of Korea, situated in the interior of Yongsan Family Park.
