Korea Military Academy

Korea Military Academy is the leading South Korean institution for the education and training of officer cadets for the Republic of Korea Army. Along with the Korea Army Academy, it produces the largest number of senior officers in the Korean army. Korea Military Academy is situated 3 km west of Tonggu-dong.

Korean National Training Center

Korea National Training Center, also known as the Taereung Training Center, located in Gongneung-dong, Nowon District, in the northeast part of Seoul, is the first national athletic training center established in South Korea. Korean National Training Center is situated 3 km northwest of Tonggu-dong.

Namyangju

Namyangju is a city in the northeast part of Gyeonggi province, South Korea. Namyangju's best-known son, and one of Korea's greatest writers, was Jeong Yak-yong. Both his birthplace and his tomb are in the town, plus Jeong Yak-yong Ecological Park.
