Cheonan station is the main train station in central Cheonan, South Korea, and the junction of the Gyeongbu and Janghang lines. It has also been served by Seoul Subway Line 1 since 2005. Cheonan is situated 3 km southeast of Ansan-bangjuk.

Cheonan is a city in South Chungcheong, South Korea. Cheonan is a name derived from heaven. This is because King Taejo of Goryeo named it the "Most important place under the sky." Also, to this day, Cheonan citizens still call Cheonan the most comfortable place under the sky and joke that it is safe from natural disasters such as typhoons.
