Although it contains several low peaks, the land of Apo-eup also contains a great deal of flat and fertile floodplain; local agriculture is dominated by rice cultivation. Apo-eup is situated 6 km southeast of Puksŏng.

Seonsan-eup, is an eup or large village in Gumi, North Gyeongsang, South Korea. It has an area of 69 km2. There are several historical landmarks in Seonsan, including two Joseon Dynasty schools: Geumo Seowon and the Seonsan hyanggyo. Seonsan is situated 9 km northeast of Puksŏng.
