Geumosan is a mountain of North Gyeongsang Province, eastern South Korea. It has an elevation of 977 metres. It is notably connected to South Korean president Park Chung Hee, as Park's birthplace is to its immediate east. Geumosan is situated 3 km south of Sujŏm-dong.

Gumi station is a railway station on the Gyeongbu Line. The train station on the Gyeongbu line is between Apo station and Sagok station. On November 1, 1916, the company started operation as a normal station. Gumi is situated 3½ km east of Sujŏm-dong.
