Geumosan is a mountain of North Gyeongsang Province, eastern South Korea. It has an elevation of 977 metres. It is notably connected to South Korean president Park Chung Hee, as Park's birthplace is to its immediate east. Geumosan is situated 3½ km northwest of Sungo-ji.

The Gyeongbu line is a railway line in South Korea and is considered to be the most important and one of the oldest in the country. It was constructed in 1905, connecting Seoul with Busan via Suwon, Daejeon, and Daegu. Sagok is situated 3½ km northeast of Sungo-ji.
