Río Grande is a city in the Mexican state of Zacatecas. It serves as the municipal seat of the eponymous Río Grande Municipality. It is the fifth most populous city in the state, it is located in the north-central region of the state and has a population of 35,050 inhabitants, according to the 2020 Census. Río Grande is situated 4 km northeast of Las Piedras.
