Otemma Glacier

The Otemma Glacier is a 7.7 km long glacier situated in the Pennine Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. In 1973 it had a length of 8.7 km, and an area of 17.5 km2 but, like most other alpine glaciers, is known to be receding.

Pigne d'Arolla is a mountain in the Pennine Alps in Switzerland. The first ascent was made by A. W. Moore and Horace Walker with the guide Jakob Anderegg on 9 July 1865. It is commonly climbed as part of the Haute Route. Pigne d’Arolla is situated 2½ km north of Pointe Bessard.
