The Hauts-Forts at 2,466 m, is a mountain of the Chablais Alps, located east of Morzine in the French department of Haute-Savoie, within one kilometre of the Swiss border. The closest locality is Avoriaz, from where a cable car leads to its summit.

Avoriaz is a French mountain resort in the Portes du Soleil in the French commune of Morzine, on a shelf above the town of Morzine. Cars are forbidden in Avoriaz; transport includes horse-drawn sleighs and snowcats during winter. Avoriaz is situated 3½ km northwest of Sur les Luis.
