The Triftsee is a proglacial lake below the Trift Glacier in Gadmen, in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. It began forming in the late 1990s as the glacier retreated and expanded significantly after 2001.

The Hinter Tierberg is a 3,445 metres high mountain in the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Bern and Uri. It overlooks the Trift Glacier on its west side and the Chelen Glacier on its east side. Hinter Tierberg is situated 3 km east of Sackblatti.
