The Brisen is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Nidwalden and Uri, in Central Switzerland. It is located near the slightly higher Hoh Brisen. The western ridge named Haldigrat is the easiest way to the summit.

The Hoh Brisen is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Nidwalden and Uri, in Central Switzerland. With an altitude of 2,413 metres above sea level, the Hoh Brisen is the highest summit of the subrange north of the Sinsgäuer Schonegg pass.

Wolfenschiessen is a village and municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. Besides the village of Wolfenschiessen itself, the municipality includes the settlements of Altzellen, Büren ob dem Bach, Dörfli, and Oberrickenbach, together with a large area of high alpine land, mountains, lakes, and glaciers. Wolfenschiessen is situated 4½ km west of Haldigrat.
