Rigi

The Rigi is a mountain massif of the Alps, located in Central Switzerland. The whole massif is almost entirely surrounded by the water of three different bodies of water: Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz.

Rigi Staffel railway station is a railway station at 1,604 m on Rigi at the junction of the rack railways Arth–Rigi railway and Vitznau–Rigi railway, just below the terminus Rigi Kulm. It is located in the municipality of Arth, canton of Schwyz, Switzerland.

Arth is a village, a town, and a municipality in Schwyz District in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland. The municipality consists of the villages Arth, Oberarth, and Goldau. Arth is situated 2½ km northeast of Höreli.

Goldau

Goldau is part of the official commune Arth-Goldau, a merger of the Goldau with nearby Arth in the canton of Schwyz in Central Switzerland. Goldau is home to a key train station junction for the Swiss Railway network, and one of the two main access points for the Rigibahn and the nearby mountain called the Rigi.
