Kuhgrat is the highest of a group of three peaks known as the Drei Schwestern in the Rätikon range in the Eastern Alps which between them form part of the Austria-Liechtenstein border. It reaches a height of 2,123 metres.

It is located on a distinctive slumping mass composed of scree slopes, positioned beneath the breakaway ridge of one of the Alps' largest landslides, which occurred approximately 12,000 years ago following the retreat of the Rhine Glacier.
