The Kreuzspitze is the highest mountain in the Bavarian section of the Ammergau Alps and is the 21st highest mountain in Germany. The mountain is located southeast of the Ammer Saddle. Kreuzspitze is situated 3½ km northwest of Lausbichel.

It is located at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain, the tallest mountain in Germany in the sub-mountain range of the Wetterstein Alps which is a branch off the main mountain range it is connected to, the Alps. Grainau is situated 7 km southeast of Lausbichel.
