The Brandenburg Gate is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, Germany. One of the best-known landmarks of the country, it was erected on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to Brandenburg an der Havel, the former capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg. Brandenburg Gate is situated 780 metres southeast of German Chancellery.

Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the main railway station in Berlin, Germany. It came into full operation two days after a ceremonial opening on 26 May 2006. It is located on the site of the historic Lehrter Bahnhof, and on the Berlin S-Bahn suburban railway. Berlin Hauptbahnhof is situated 540 metres north of German Chancellery.
