Munich-Riem Airport was the international airport of Munich, the capital city of Bavaria and third-largest city of Germany. It was closed down on 16 May 1992, the day before the new Munich Airport commenced operations.

Munich-Trudering station is an interchange station of the Munich S-Bahn and the Munich U-Bahn in the borough of Trudering-Riem in the Bavarian capital of Munich.

The Riem Arcaden is the largest shopping mall in Munich. It was built in the Messestadt Riem district at Willy-Brandt-Platz and designed by the Allmann Sattler Wappner firm and opened on 10 March 2004.
