The Avery County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Newland, Avery County, North Carolina. It was designed by Wheeler & Runge and was built in 1912.

Pixie Mountain is a mountain in the North Carolina High Country, in the community of Linville. Its elevation reaches 4,058 feet. The mountain is adjacent to the Linville River. Pixie Mountain is situated 2½ miles southeast of Township of Montezuma.
