It serves much of the county's northwestern region, with the district encompassing the greater Scio area, including the community of Jordan and the northern reaches of Lacomb.

The Shimanek Bridge is a covered bridge near Scio in Linn County in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Thomas Creek – Shimanek Covered Bridge in 1987. Schimanek Bridge is situated 2½ miles east of City of Scio.
