The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, commonly referred to as HNK Zagreb, is a theatre, opera and ballet house in Zagreb. Located on the centre of Republic of Croatia Square, it is the oldest Croatian theatre institution, officially opening on November 24, 1860. Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is situated 130 metres south of University of Zagreb.

The Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb is the law school of the University of Zagreb. Founded in 1776 by Empress Maria Theresa as part of her comprehensive reforms in the system of education in the Habsburg monarchy, it is the oldest continually-operating law school in Croatia and all of Southeast Europe.
