Montfaucon

Montfaucon is a locality in Franches-Montagnes District, Canton of Jura and has an elevation of 882 metres. Montfaucon is situated nearby to the hamlet Les Sairains, as well as near the village Les Enfers.

Pré-Petitjean railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Montfaucon, in the Swiss canton of Jura. It is an intermediate stop and a request stop on the 1,000 mm metre gauge La Chaux-de-Fonds–Glovelier line of the Chemins de fer du Jura.

La Traction

La Traction is a Swiss volunteer railway preservation group based at Pré-Petitjean on the line of the Chemins de fer du Jura. Their special trains operate, on selected dates throughout the year, over three routes in the area, Glovelier to Saignelégier, Saignelégier to La Chaux-de-Fonds and "The Hard Climb" from Tavannes to la Noirmont.

Montfaucon is a municipality in the district of Franches-Montagnes in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. On 1 January 2009 the former municipality of Montfavergier merged into Montfaucon.
