The Rienzenstock is a mountain in Switzerland of the Glarus Alps, overlooking the valley of the Reuss near Göschenen in the canton of Uri. It is the culminating point of the group lying west of the Fellilücke. Rienzenstock is situated 4 km southeast of Wassen.

Göschenen is a village and municipality in the canton of Uri in Switzerland. It sits at the northern end of the Gotthard tunnel. The Göschenen riots saw Urner troops opening fire on Italian miners demonstrating for better working conditions and wages on the tunnel's construction site. Göschenen is situated 4½ km south of Wassen.
