Veyras is a former municipality in the district of Sierre in the canton of in . On 1 January 2021 the former municipalities of , and Veyras merged to form the new municipality of Noble-Contrée.

is a 13th-century fortified manor house located near Veyras in 's Rhone Valley. In 1921, it was purchased by Swiss merchant and arts patron Werner Reinhart who then invited Bohemian-Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke to live there rent-free.
