Mardi Gras World is a tourist attraction located in New Orleans. Guests tour the 300,000 square foot working warehouse where floats are made for Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans, Louisiana.

New Orleans Morial Convention Center

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is located in Downtown New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The lower end of building one is located 1,640 feet upriver from Canal Street on the banks of the Mississippi River. New Orleans Morial Convention Center is situated 2 miles north of City of Gretna.

St. Mary’s Assumption Church

St. Mary's Assumption Church is a National Historic Landmark church at Constance and Josephine Streets in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. The church was completed in 1860, built for the swelling German Catholic immigrant population in the Lower Garden District section of the city.

Algiers

Algiers is a neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is across the Mississippi River from the rest of New Orleans. Connected to the city by bridge and Ferry, it has attractions, restaurants, and bed & breakfasts in an area an easy trip to central New Orleans while retaining some of the feel of a small Louisiana town.

The Central Business District is the part of New Orleans similar to what many cities call "Downtown". Just "up" from the French Quarter is the CBD. Like many other large American cities, this area has skyscrapers and modern office towers housing cooperate and regional offices; however some interesting 19th-century architecture is also preserved.

Central City is a section of New Orleans to the west of the Central Business District and north from the downriver section of Uptown. Some locals also call it "the 3rd Ward", although legally that designation includes a wider area including much of the Central Business District.
