Ono district
Ōno is a district located in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The district is in a mountainous region near the geographic centre of Japan. Prior to February 1, 2005, the district comprised seven small communities, but on that day six of them merged into the expanded city of Takayama.- Type: County

Hatogaya Dam

The Hatogaya Dam is a gravity dam on the Shō River about 2 km south of Shirakawa in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It was constructed between 1954 and 1956. The dam has an associated 43 MW hydroelectric power station which was commissioned in 1956.
