Khulna Divisional Museum is the only museum of Khulna City. It was established by Bangladesh Archaeological Department. It is the second largest museum in Bangladesh after Bangladesh National Museum by area.

Naval base
BNS Titumir is a naval base of the Bangladeshi Navy, founded after the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, and located in Khulna. Till 1971 it was titled as PNS Titumir as Bangladesh was then part of Pakistan. BNS Titumir is situated 4 km northeast of Chak Mathurabad.
