It was established in 1948 for the purpose of assisting members of the National Diet of Japan in researching matters of public policy. The Hie Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Nagatachō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Its June 15 Sannō Matsuri is one of the three great Japanese festivals of Edo. Other names for the shrine include Hiyoshi Sannō-sha, Hiyoshi Sannō Daigongen-sha, Edo Sannō Daigongen, Kōjimachi Sannō, Sannō-sha, and Sannō-sama. Hie Shrine is situated 290 metres southeast of Akasaka-mitsuke Station.

Akasaka Blitz was a music venue in Minato, Tokyo, which opened in April 1996, and was owned and operated by Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. On September 22, 2020, the venue was permanently shut down due to COVID-19. Akasaka BLITZ is situated 470 metres southwest of Akasaka-mitsuke Station.
