Nishi-Kokura Station is a junctuion passenger railway station located in Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu.

Kokura Castle is a five-story castle in Kitakyushu, Japan. A castle was first built at the current site in 1569. Construction of a more substantial replacement commenced in 1602 under the direction of daimyo Tadaoki Hosokawa. Kokura Castle is situated 450 metres south of Nishi-Kokura.

The Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum is a literature museum in Kitakyushu, Japan. It is dedicated to Seichō Matsumoto, who spent the first half of his life in Kitakyusyu. The museum is located next to Kokura Castle. Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum is situated 550 metres south of Nishi-Kokura.
