Kanayama Dam
Kanayama Dam is an earthfill dam located in Chiba Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for irrigation. The catchment area of the dam is 5.5 km2. The dam impounds about 21 ha of land when full and can store 1801 thousand cubic meters of water.Places of Interest Nearby

Kameiwa cave and the Nōmizo waterfall that flows through it are located near the city of Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. While referred to as a cave, the Kameiwa cave is a tunnel bored during the Edo period to provide water for local agriculture. Kameiwa cave is situated 4 km north of Kanayama Dam.
