Shimokotori Dam

The Shimokotori Dam is a rock-fill dam on the Shimokotori River about 15 km west of in , Japan. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation and water from its reservoir is diverted via a 8.5 km long headrace tunnel to a 142 MW power station northeast of the dam.
