Palikir is the capital city of the Federated States of Micronesia located in the western Pacific Ocean. A town of slightly under 5,000 residents, it is part of the larger Sokehs municipality, which had a population of 6,964 as of 2024, out of the nation's total population of 106,487.

Kolonia is a city on the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. The municipality of Kolonia has a population of around 6,500 people, but it is the center of an urban area of approximately 13,000 people, including the nearby suburbs of Sokehs Island, Nett and Porakied village.
