Rhoda Island

Roda Island is an island neighbourhood in the Nile in central Cairo, alternatively or partially known as Manial al-Roda, or al-Manial, in reference to the main village that existed on the island before it was urbanised, and is part of the Misr al-Qadima district. Rhoda Island is situated 3½ km east of Bolak El Dakror.

The Orman Garden at Giza, Cairo is one of the most famous Botanical gardens in Egypt. It was founded in 1875 during the reign of Khedive Isma'il Pasha. Orman Garden is situated 2½ km northeast of Bolak El Dakror.
