Lac de Grandval
Lac de Grandval is a reservoir lake in Cantal, France. At an elevation of 742 m, its surface area is 11 km2. The lake lies in the communes of Alleuze, Faverolles and Fridefont; at its western end is the hydroelectric dam by the name of Barrage de Grandval, between Lavastrie and Fridefont.| Tap on a place to explore it |

The Grandval Dam is a dam in the French region Massif central, which opened in 1960. It was conceived by architects Henri et Louis Marty. It is located on the Truyère river, in the departement of Cantal, in between the communes of Fridefont et de Lavastrie.
