Uschod

Uschod is a Minsk Metro station in Belarus. It was opened on 30 December 1986. The station's name not only implies its geographical location, as it was the easternmost station of Minsk Metro for more than 20 years, but also its connotation with the Vostok space programme that ultimately led to the first crewed spaceflight.

Vialikaja Sliapianka is a former village located on the banks of the Sliepnia River. Since 1959, it has been part of the city of Minsk, Belarus. It is historically known as an estate of the Wańkowicz family, featuring a prominent Wańkowicz manor house built in the Classicist style.

Uručča, is a microdistrict in the north-eastern part of Minsk. It was founded on the place of former Uručča village in the early 1980s. Uručča divided into six parts with corresponding numbers. The metro station of the same name was opened on November 7, 2007. Uručča is situated 2½ km east of Uschod.
