Chaojing is a town in Taishan City, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, China. It is located northwest of Taishan City 11.4 kilometres from Baisha Town. Though identified as a village in some government documents, it is a true town, having a hospital, a high school, a public market, a post office, a rural agricultural bank branch, an automobile dealership, and other services. Chaojing is situated 4 km southwest of Hengcun.

Kaiping is a pastoral area in Guangdong, China, full of rice fields and old-fashioned villages, that is known for its hundreds of diāolóu. These watchtower dwellings, scattered around the countryside, were built in the early 20th century by overseas Chinese in a mixture of western and eastern styles.
