西岐新
Village
Xiqi village is located in the town of Shuibu, in Taishan City, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, southern China. Decades ago the village had 1,000 villagers but was almost completely depopulated by emigration to the United States such that fewer than 50 villagers today. 西岐新 is situated 5 km east of Fenglaicun.

Kaiping is a pastoral area in Guangdong, China, full of rice fields and old-fashioned villages, that is known for its hundreds of diāolóu. These watchtower dwellings, scattered around the countryside, were built in the early 20th century by overseas Chinese in a mixture of western and eastern styles.
