Chicken Historic District
The Chicken Historic District encompasses part of the historic mining district of Chicken in the US state of Alaska. The roughly 3 acres area along the Taylor Highway preserves about 15 wood-frame and log buildings erected between 1908 and 1967 during the town’s gold-mining peak.Photo: Geoff0522, CC BY-SA 3.0.

Chicken is a small village at milepost 66.8 on the Taylor Highway in Alaska. As one of the few places along this highway where fuel is available, it is a popular rest stop.
