The i.d.e.a. Museum, formerly the Arizona Museum for Youth, is a museum designed for exhibiting, teaching, and interacting with the fine arts. It changed its name on February 6, 2014, to i.d.e.a, which stands for "imagination, design, experience, art." The i.d.e.a. I.d.e.a. Museum is situated 720 feet west of Arizona Museum of Natural History.

The station is located one block east of the intersection of East Main Street and North Center Street and opened on August 22, 2015 as part of the Central Mesa Extension. Center/Main Street station is situated 1,100 feet southeast of Arizona Museum of Natural History.
