The Austrian National Library is the largest library in Austria, with more than 12 million items in its various collections. The library is located in the Neue Burg Wing of the Hofburg in center of Vienna. State Hall of the Austrian National Library is situated 340 metres northeast of Ringstrasse.

Located in the Innere Stadt borough, the President of Austria resides in the adjoining Hofburg wing, while the Federal Chancellery is on adjacent Ballhausplatz. Heldenplatz is situated 170 metres northeast of Ringstrasse.

The Vienna State Opera is a historic opera house and opera company based in Vienna, Austria. The 1,709-seat Renaissance Revival venue was the first major building on the Vienna Ring Road. Vienna State Opera is situated 530 metres east of Ringstrasse.
