The Älvsborg Bridge is a suspension bridge over Göta älv in Gothenburg, Sweden, connecting the island of Hisingen with the mainland. It was designed by Sven Olof Asplund, and inaugurated on 8 November 1966 by Swedish communication minister Olof Palme.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Röda Sten Konsthall is a contemporary art center located in the district of Majorna under Älvsborg Bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden. Konsthall roughly translates to "Art Gallery" however the organization is much more similar to a German Kunsthalle. Röda Sten Konsthall is situated 170 metres south of Älvsborg Bridge.

Älvsborg, now generally known as Old Älvsborg or Älvsborg Castle to distinguish it from the later New Älvsborg and Älvsborg Fortress, was a medieval castle situated on the rocky outcrop known as Klippan, on the south bank of the Göta Älv river within the urban area of the modern city of Gothenburg. Old Älvsborg is situated 330 metres east of Älvsborg Bridge.

Eriksberg is an area on Hisingen in Gothenburg where Eriksbergs Mekaniska Verkstads AB had their shipyard until bankruptcy in 1979. For over a century the area was dominated by shipbuilding but a crisis in the 1970s destroyed the industry.
