As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 7,281, an increase of 78 from the 2010 census count of 7,203, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,549 from the 5,654 counted in the 2000 census. Green Brook Township is situated 2½ miles east of Warren Township.
