Akita Prefectural Library

Akita Prefectural Library opened in Akita, Akita Prefecture, Japan in 1899, and it is one of the oldest libraries in the country. The facilities reopened in a new building in 1993.

Akita Prefectural Gymnasium is a stadium in Akita, Akita Prefecture, Japan. The gymnasium was built in 1968. Yoshio Kobayashi and Masatoshi Soh were the architects.

Soyu Stadium, formerly a.k.a. Akita Yabase Athletic Field, is an athletic stadium in Akita, Akita, Japan. Located approximately 3 kilometers from the city center, the Akita Yabase Stadium is a multi-use facility opened in September 1941.

Hiroomote is a neighbourhood located in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, Japan. Annexed by the city in 1941, it borders the neighborhoods of Shimokitate on the east, Yanagida on the north, Tegata on the west and Sakura and Yokomori on the south that is bounded by Taihei River. Hiroomote is situated 4½ km east of Sanno-nakazonomachi.
