The Desenberg near Daseburg in the North Rhine-Westphalian county of Höxter is 343.6 m above sea level and the most prominent hill in the Warburg Börde, a relatively level, fertile Börde region. Desenberg is situated 120 metres west of Desenberg.

The Warburg station is located on the north-eastern edge of the German town of Warburg. The station was built in 1852 and 1853. Warburg and Minden stations are the last stations from the early railway history of the Prussian province of Westphalia that are still in their original form as island stations, with the station entrance buildings located between the tracks. Warburg station is situated 2½ km west of Desenberg.
