Galičica National Park is in the Galičica mountains in the southwestern corner of North Macedonia. It occupies pretty much the entire area between Ohrid and Prespa Lakes, from Ohrid in the north to the Albanian border in the south.

Lagadin is a small tourist village in the municipality of Ohrid, North Macedonia, located 9 kilometres south of the city of Ohrid. It is a popular beachside destination along Lake Ohrid and lies at the foot of Galičica National Park. Lagadin is situated 3½ km northwest of Vetri Gumena.
