Tanner’s Creek Generating Station

Tanner's Creek Generating Station was a major, 1000-MWe coal-fired electrical power plant in Indiana. Located on the north bank of Ohio River along Tanners Creek, it was one of the two coal-fired power stations within 3 miles of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, near the tripoint of Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Lawrenceburg High School is a high school located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The current building was built in 1937. In 1964 the new gym was built to bring the sectionals back to Lawrenceburg. Lawrenceburg High School is situated 2½ miles north of Tanners Station Historical Marker.

The Hillforest Mansion, also known as the Thomas Gaff House, is located at 213 Fifth Street, in Aurora, Indiana. Built in 1855 on a bluff above the Ohio River, it is one of the finest surviving examples of an Italian Renaissance estate house, and a rare well-preserved example of the work of architect Isaiah Rogers.
