Julfa, formerly Jugha, is a city and the capital of the Julfa District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. Julfa, an old Armenian city, is separated by the Aras River from its namesake, the town of Jolfa on the Iranian side of the border. Julfa is situated 8 km southwest of Daridagh.
